Ravi Shetty appointed as new coach of Thailand National Kabaddi team

Previously he coached Patna Pirates in PKL season 9.
Ravi Shetty is one name we have seen coaching in Pro Kabaddi League for a long time, he has been a part of PKL for 9 seasons so far and has displayed his experience many times. While doing this, he took the team to the threshold of victory. Ravi Shetty has worked as an assistant coach for eight seasons in Pro Kabaddi League with teams like U Mumba, Jaipur Pink Panthers, and Puneri Paltan.
He took U Mumba to the finals under his coaching in the first season. Apart from this, he was also a part of the coaching staff of Puneri Paltan in PKL 8 and the team made it to the play-offs. After which, in view of his experience in the 9th season, Patna Pirates signed him as the head coach.
But last season, Patna Pirates had a very poor performance, after which Ravi Shetty was removed from the role of coach by the team for the 10th season. After which he will now be seen in a new role. Let us tell you that Thailand recently made headlines in the world of Kabaddi by appointing Ravi Shetty as the head coach of its national team. This step of Thailand can now prove to be very effective in the development of their game.
Ravi Shetty will be seen in a new role
Ravi Shetty will be seen as the head coach of Thailand in the Asian Kabaddi Championship starting June 27. His experience from the last 9 seasons of the Pro Kabaddi League can come in handy for Thailand and they can do well in the upcoming championships.
While Thailand Kabaddi Federation has announced that now Ravi Shetty will be the coach of their national team, another interesting fact is coming out that in the Asian Kabaddi Championship starting from June 27 and the Asian Games starting from September, if Indian When the Kabaddi team comes in front of the Thailand Kabaddi team, Ravi Shetty may have a big dilemma whether to fulfill his duty or pay his debt to India. Whatever the case may be, however, the expectation at this point is that he will be an impartial coach and faithfully perform his duties for Thailand.
How was the performance of Patna Pirates in PKL 9
Patna Pirates is the most successful team in PKL history. He scored a hat-trick of title wins in the third, fourth, and fifth seasons of PKL, registering consecutive victories. Because of this, they are the team that has won the most titles (3 times) in the history of this league. But last season i.e. 9th season under the coaching of Ravi Shetty, the performance of this team was very poor and no one had expected such performance from this team.
After the poor performance last season, Patna Pirates has now appointed Narendra Singh Redhu as the head coach of the team in place of Ravi Shetty for the 10th season of PKL.
