Few players who didn't stand up to the expectations at Asian Kabaddi Championships might be dropped to make room for the 'Dubki King'.

The announcement of the Indian Kabaddi team for the 2022 Asian Games is imminent. The list of probable 24 players from India has already been revealed, all of whom are currently part of a training camp in Bangalore. Those who excel during this camp will earn their spot in the Asian Games team. Some notable players like Pardeep Narwal, Pawan Sehrawat, and Sunil Kumar have already secured their places in the probable team. Initially kept as standbys, Manjeet Dahiya and Surender Nada have also been included in the probable team now.

Several players who were recently selected for the Asian Kabaddi Championship are also part of this camp. While Pardeep Narwal was not part of the team for the Asian Kabaddi Championship, his desire to be part of the Asian Games team is evident. Pardeep Narwal is a renowned kabaddi star who has proven himself at the international level. Thus, his presence could be crucial for major tournaments like the Asian Games.

To include Pardeep Narwal in the team, some other players from the previous roster may have to be excluded. Let's take a look at two players who did not perform up to expectations:

1. Mohit Goyat

Mohit Goyat was selected for the Indian team in the Asian Kabaddi Championship, but he failed to live up to expectations. He underperformed both as a starting player and as a substitute. Even when brought in as a substitute during the final match against Iran, he couldn't score any points.

Given Mohit Goyat's limited opportunities and lackluster performance, he might be dropped from the team to make way for Pardeep Narwal, who has been in better form recently. While Mohit Goyat showed promise in the PKL, he needs to work harder to perform at the international level.

2. Arjun Deshwal

Arjun Deshwal had an impressive performance during the 9th season of the PKL for Jaipur Pink Panthers, playing a vital role in helping the team become champions. However, his international performances did not match that level. Despite scoring points against Iran, Japan, and in the league match against Iran, he couldn't secure a Super 10 in any of the games.

Considering his lackluster international performance and inconsistency, Arjun Deshwal might be dropped from the team to make room for Pardeep Narwal.

In conclusion, to include Pardeep Narwal in the Asian Games team, some players from the previous roster like Mohit Goyat and Arjun Deshwal may have to be dropped due to their underwhelming performances.
