Pardeep Narwal & many others called up for Asian Games Kabaddi camp

Several star players from the PKL have been included in the team.
India's 24-member shortlisted team announced for the training camp of the 19th edition of the Asian Games. Notable players such as Pardeep Narwal, Pawan Sehrawat, and Sunil Kumar have secured their spots in this probable team. Initially kept as standbys, Manjeet Dahiya and Surender Nada have also been included in the probable team. All these players will participate in the camp in Bengaluru. The camp will take place from July 6th to July 27th, and the final team selection will be based on the players' performances.
Speaking of India's probable team for the Asian Games includes several renowned names. Arjun Deshwal, Aslam Inamdar, Deepak Hooda, Mohit Goyat, Nitesh Kumar, and Sachin Tanwar are some of the experienced players who are part of this probable team. In the previous Asian Games, both the men's and women's teams from India fell short of winning gold medals, ending their long-standing dominance. Thus, the Asian Games hold significant importance for India, as they aim to reestablish their supremacy. The team comprises players capable of winning the gold medal once again.
Surjeet Singh has been excluded from the team. In the recent Asian Kabaddi Championship held in Korea, almost all the well-performing players have been included in this probable team. However, Surjeet Singh did not make the cut, and Surjeet Narwal has taken his place. Rahul Chaudhari, who had alleged favoritism in the selection process, also did not secure a place in the team. Additionally, young all-rounder Meetu Sharma has been included, while Vikash Kandola, who was not part of the Asian Kabaddi Championship team, is part of this camp.
