PKL 10: Haryana Steelers retention list
The team has retained a total of 8 players for the upcoming season.
The performance of the Haryana Steelers hasn’t been good in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) for the past few seasons. In the previous season, the team even changed its coaching staff and appointed Manpreet Singh as the coach. However, the team still couldn’t secure a place in the playoffs. While Haryana started the season strongly and won several matches consecutively, they couldn’t maintain their momentum.
In the last season, the Steelers won 10 out of 22 matches and faced defeat in 10 matches, with 2 matches ending in ties. The team finished at the seventh position on the points table. If Haryana had managed to win just one more match, they could have made it to the playoffs.
For the upcoming season, Haryana Steelers have retained a total of eight players. Coach Manpreet Singh emphasizes defense and this is reflected in the team’s retention list. The team has retained six defenders and only two raiders. Haryana has retained one player from the Elite Retained Players category, three from the Young Players category, and the maximum four players from the New Young Players category. Let’s find out which players Haryana Steelers have retained for the 10th season of PKL.
