Puneri Paltan had surprised everyone by securing a place in the finals of the 9th season of PKL. They seemed like title contenders, but they had to face defeat against Jaipur Pink Panthers in the final match. In the previous season, many players had delivered exceptional performances for Puneri Paltan, including Aslam Inamdar, Mohit Goyat, Akash Shinde, Fazel Atrachali, and Sombeer, which is why they retained most of their players for the 10th season. However, they released Fazel Atrachali, who was the captain of the team in the previous season.

1. Abhinash Nadarajan - The franchise retained Abhinash Nadarajan in the elite retained category. He had played 15 matches in the previous season, earning 35 points. Abhinash is known for his excellent defensive skills and experience, making him a valuable addition to the team after Fazal Atrachali's departure.
2. Gaurav Khatri - After retaining Abhinash, the franchise also kept Gaurav Khatri in the right corner position. Gaurav played 16 matches last season, earning 21 points. 2. Pankaj Mohite - The young raider Pankaj Mohite had a good performance in the last season. He is considered an emerging star in the world of kabaddi. Pankaj had played 13 matches in the previous season and earned 60 points. He has been retained for another season and is expected to shine in the absence of Mohit Goyat and Aslam Inamdar.
3. Aslam Inamdar - The franchise retained Aslam Inamdar, their top raider, for another season. Aslam made his debut for Puneri Paltan and was the team's second-highest red-point scorer in the 9th PKL season, with 138 points in 17 matches.

5. Akash Shinde - Puneri Paltan retained Akash Shinde to solidify their young raiders' lineup. In the previous season, he led the team in semi-finals and finals in the absence of Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat, impressing with 142 points in 22 matches.

1. Badal Singh - The franchise retained two players in this category, with the first being Badal Singh. He plays in the left corner position in defense and played 12 matches in the previous season, earning 7 points.
2. Aditya Shinde - Young raider Aditya Shinde got a chance to play in six matches in the last season, earning 20 points, showing his potential, which led to his retention by Puneri Paltan.
