He is the first player to cross the 2-crore figure in Pro Kabaddi League history.

India's Asian Games 2023 winning captain Pawan Sehrawat created history by becoming the most expensive buy in Pro Kabaddi League auctions after being sold to Telugu Titans for a whopping Rs 2.60 crore. He leapfrogged Chiyaneh (2.35 crore) who held the top spot for a brief period. Telugu Titans after having tried variety of options in the previous seasons have made a solid buy and will look to make full use of the raider.

Fondly called “high-flyer", Pawan Sehrawat plied his trade for Tamil Thalaivas in the previous season. The Indian captain was sold for a record 2.26 crores and in the process became the first player to cross the two-crore mark in the history of PKL. However, he suffered from a knee injury in the inaugural match for the franchise, ruling him out of the tournament in season 9.

Ahead of season PKL 10 auction, Tamil Thalaivas released the 27-year-old into the auction pool.

Pawan Sehrawat started his PKL career with Bengaluru Bulls in season 3 taking part in 13 matches and scoring 45 raid points. He stayed with the franchise for the following season before shifting flanks to Gujarat Fortune Giants.

However, he became a sensation only in PKL 6 when Bengaluru Bulls brought him again. In the opening match of the season, Pawan scored 20 raid points and from there on there was no looking back for the star raider as he finished the season with 282 points including 13 Super 10s.

With this, he led Bengaluru Bulls to a maiden title triumph under the aegis of head coach Randhir Sehrawat. The Indian captain went a step further and in PKL 7 scored 353 points. Morever, in a game against Haryana Steelers, he scored 39 raid points which is the most in a single game in the history of PKL. He was declared MVP in PKL 6 and was the most successful raider in season 7 and 8.

Overall, Pawan Sehrawat has scored 987 raid points and currently stands fith in the all-time raiders list behind Deepak Hooda.
