PKL 10: Bengaluru Bulls Team Profile
Both the team's defense and raiding department are very strong.
Bengaluru Bulls won the PKL title in the sixth season. Since then, in every PKL season, the team has performed well but they have not been able to reach the finals. If we talk about the 9th season, Bengaluru Bulls had reached the semi-finals where they had to face defeat from a strong Jaipur Pink Panthers team. The Bulls are one of the PKL teams that consistently perform well with consistency. This team had a big player like Pawan Sehrawat till the eighth season, but despite the absence of Pawan Sehrawat last season, the team went to the semi-finals and showed that they are not dependent on any one player.
Before the start of the new season (PKL 10), let us tell you what are the strong points and weak points of the Bengaluru Bulls.
Strong side of the team
There are many great options in raiding
Even though the Bengaluru Bulls do not have Pawan Sehrawat, their raiding department looks quite good. The team has three big raiders Vikash Kandola, Bharat and Abhishek Singh. Apart from this, Neeraj Narwal, Bunty and Monu are also excellent options as a backup. Bharat did not let Pawan Sehrawat miss the mark by scoring 279 points in 23 matches during the 9th season. If we talk about Abhishek, he has been playing for the last several seasons and has a lot of experience.
Apart from this, there is also Neeraj Narwal who performed very well last season. Whereas Neeraj Narwal played a total of 24 matches last season and scored 115 points during this period. He assisted Bharat very well in raiding. For this reason, the raiding department of Bengaluru Bulls looks complete.
There are many big giants present in defense
Last season, Aman and Saurabh Nandal performed brilliantly in defense for the Bengaluru Bulls. This time the team's defense has become even better because they have bought excellent defenders like Ran Singh and Surjit Singh. Bengaluru Bulls have 14 options in defense and this shows that their defense can become a headache for other teams this time too. Saurabh Nandal scored 72 points in 24 matches last season and took the team to the playoffs. Aman also performed brilliantly and scored 60 tackle points. During this period he also made three super tackles. Together, these four defenders can pose a tough challenge to any raider.
Weak side of Bengaluru Bulls
Vikash Kandola not in best form
Vikash Kandola is one of the legendary players of PKL but in the last few seasons, he has not been able to perform as well for which he is known. If we talk, last season Vikash Kandola scored 139 points in 24 matches. If you have been brought in place of a veteran raider like Pawan Sehrawat, then there is a need to perform much better than this. Vikash Kandola's name is quite big but he has not been able to perform accordingly and if he does not play well this season too, then this could be a weak link in the team.
Eyes will be on these players
If we talk about the Bengaluru Bulls team, then most eyes will be on Bharat because the last season was very good for him. Apart from this, a lot of responsibility will also be on Vikash Kandola, Saurabh Nandal and Surjit Singh. The team would like these players to perform well.
