UP Yoddhas is one of the best teams in PKL whose performance has been quite good in every season. There are many big names in this team. Pardeep Narwal, the most successful raider in PKL history and Nitish Kumar, one of the legendary defenders, are the identity of this team. Apart from this, players like Sumit and Surender Gill also provide a lot of strength to the team. UP Yoddhas reached the playoffs last season. However, if we look at the history of this team, UP has made it to the playoffs in every season but they have not been able to progress beyond that.

Many great players have played for the team so far but have not been able to win the title. UP Yoddhas would like to win the title during the 10th season. Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill like veterans will lead in raiding:

Like last time, this time too the entire responsibility of raiding will be on veteran raiders Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill. Pardeep Narwal scored 220 points in 22 matches during the 9th season and stood sixth in this matter. Pardeep Narwal showed that he still has a lot of strength in him and perhaps this is the reason why the team has once again expressed confidence in him. Pardeep Narwal is such a player who can make the team a champion if he gets into rhythm. Whereas if we talk about Surender Gill then, due to injury he played only 14 matches last season but despite this he scored 140 raid points.

Apart from this, he also scored points in defense on many occasions. Surender Gill proved his usefulness in every match in which he played. In such a situation, Surender Gill and Pardeep Narwal will be the first two raiders of the team. Vijay Malik can be included as the third raider, who had performed well while playing for Dabang Delhi. Vijay Malik had scored 82 points in 11 matches last season and he can prove to be a very good option as an assist raider.

UP Yoddhas do not need to think at all about which player to include in the defense. Nitish Kumar, Sumit, Ashu Singh and Harendra Kumar can be included in the starting seven as defenders. Nitesh Kumar on the right corner, Sumit on the left corner, Ashu Singh on the right cover and Harendra Kumar on the left cover can be part of the team. Kiran Magar is also with the team but he might be used as a backup.

Sumit was the best performing player for UP Yoddhas in defense in the last PKL season. He had achieved 54 tackle points in 21 matches. Nitesh Kumar's performance was not that good but he has a lot of experience. If we talk about Ashu Singh, he was the second best defender of the team and had scored 49 points in 23 matches. Harendra Kumar was a part of U-Mumba team last season and it remains to be seen what he can do this season.
