The 24th match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 will be played between Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers at Badminton Hall in Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on December 15 at 9 pm.

Pune have had a perfect start to the season with two wins in two matches against tough opponents like Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba. Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyanneh has adapted to the Puneri setup and looks perfect in a squad that is filled with the exuberance of youth. Aslam Inamdar looks a promising captain in the few games we have seen.

These two quality all-rounders will again be the biggest threat against Haryana Steelers. Abinesh Nadarajan continues to impress in that right cover position. Mohit Goyat had a dream game against U Mumba as he scored touch points, bonus points, and tackle points. He along with Pankaj Mohite will look to score big against an inexperienced Steelers’ defense.

Haryana Steelers staged a brilliant comeback in the Bengaluru leg after being at the bottom of the table at the end of the Ahmedabad leg of PKL 10. The raiding combination of Siddharth Desai and Vinay has been complementing each other which helped them win two games in the Bengaluru leg. Coach Manpreet’s strategy to persist with these two over Prapanjan and Chandran Ranjit seems to be working out well.

More than the Raiders, it is the defense that coach Manpreet would focus on going into the game against Puneri Paltan. In each of the three games, three defenders have scored a High-five for the Sonepat-based franchise. While it was good for the team to get contributions from different individuals, it is paramount that they bring in some consistency as well.
