The 108th match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 will be played between Tamil Thalaivas and UP Yoddhas at Thyagaraja Indoor Stadium in Delhi on February 6 at 8 pm.

UP Yoddhas, who are now in 11th place in the points standings, is only ahead of the Telugu Titans after a disappointing journey this season. The win against U Mumba helped them break the eight-match losing streak. Although they are almost out of the playoff race, they can still upset the chances of others and it is the Thalaivas who they will try to stop on Tuesday.

The two most important players for them, Surinder Gill in the raiding department and Nitesh Kumar on defense have not performed up to pace. They have been benched by coach Jasveer Singh since they don’t appear to be themselves. Together with the usual suspects, Pardeep Narwal and Sumit, if they pull their socks up, they can push for a win.

Having put together a string of wins, Tamil Thalaivas have lost two games on the trot which has now put doubts on their qualification chances. The team in yellow would want to show their mettle and not better against UP Yoddhas against whom they won in the first fixture of the season. More importantly, Coach Ashan would bring back Sagar in the starting seven in this game.

The defensive tandem of Sagar and Sahil Gulia is largely responsible for the team’s success. Now as Himanshu and Abhishek are beginning to take shape, the wall that will keep the adversaries at bay is prepared for combat. The shape has been located by Ajinkya Pawar and Narender. The fact that they appear to peak at the right moment has given the team more confidence.
