The tenth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 10) saw a new winner in Puneri Paltan who lifted their first-ever PKL title. Puneri Paltan were by far the best team in the tournament in every font, be it attack or defense, Puneri Paltan had all their bases covered.

Puneri Paltan wrote a fairytale story this season and went all the way to lift the trophy after losing last season’s final. The caravan began on December 2, 2023, and went until the 1st of March, 2024. It has been an incredible season with numerous records being broken and created.

On that note, let us take a look at PKL 10 in numbers.

37 – Biggest win margin

The contest between Tamil Thalaivas and the Bengal Warriors unfolded the biggest margin win this season. Tamil Thalaivas pulled off a 37-point win over the Bengal Warriors in the 126th match of PKL 10.

22 – Games tied

22 games were tied in PKL 10. All the teams played out a draw except for the Gujarat Giants and Tamil Thalaivas.

276 – Most raid points by a player

Arjun Deshwal and Ashu Malik were the top scorers in terms of raiding points as they scored 276 points throughout the tournament.

99 – Most tackle points by a player 

Mohammadreza Chiynah created a new record for the most number of tackle points scored in a single edition by scoring 99 tackle points.

5497 – Total raid points

The total raid points scored by all the teams this season stood at 5497.

3120 – Total tackle points

3120 tackle points were scored by all the teams this season.

504 – Most raid points by a team

Bengal Warriors scored the most number of raid points this season and were the only side to score the 500-point mark.

349 – Most tackle points by a team

PKL 10 champions Puneri Paltan scored the most number of tackle points this season (349).

41 – Most do-or-die points

Ashu Malik scored 41 do-or-die points this season.

33 – Most super tackles by a team

Haryana Steelers made 33 super tackles this season.

18 – Most super raids by a team

The Gujarat Giants executed the most number of super raids this season.

96 – Highest point scored by a team in the league phase

Puneri Paltan scored 96 points and became the team to score the most points during the league stage in the history of PKL.

3 – finals lost by Manpreet Singh as a head coach

Manpreet Singh lost his third consecutive final as the head coach of the PKL team.
