Bengal Warriorz vs Puneri Paltan: All time Head-to-Head record in Pro Kabaddi

Puneri Paltan have the upper hand against Bengal Warriorz in PKL.

Bengal Warriorz will resume their Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 11 journey with a clash against the defending champions Puneri Paltan at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. The Pro Kabaddi League 7 champions will look to add more points to their tally after a decent start to the ongoing campaign. 

They started with a hard-fought defeat against the Jaipur Pink Panthers in their Pro Kabaddi League curtain raiser before securing their first win of the PKL 11 against the UP Yoddhas. They then played out the first tie of the season against U Mumba in match 17. The Warriorz are currently placed sixth in the table with nine points and a score difference of -2 to their name.

Puneri Paltan on the other hand will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the Pro Kabaddi League table. The defending champions began their season in style with a win over the Haryana Steelers before ripping off three-time Pro Kabaddi League champions Patna Pirates in the second game. However, they were brought down by the Tamil Thalaivas in their third match but bounced back with a win against the Bengaluru Bulls.

The upcoming Pro Kabaddi League game between the two sides will be their 21st meeting. Puneri Paltan have an edge with 11 wins in hand while the Bengal Warriorz have won eight games. Only one match has ended in a tie which dates back to 2016. The defending champions have completed a league double over the Warriorz in both of the last two seasons.

Bengal Warriorz‘s last victory against Puneri Paltan in the Pro Kabaddi League came in February 2022. Last season, the Paltan secured a massive victory and defeated the Warriorz by a 30-point margin in the first game while the second match ended 29-26 in favour of the Pune-based side.
