5 young players to look out for in the next auction of the PKL
Teams can show a lot of interest in these young players.
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is the biggest Kabaddi league in the world. The league has completed eight seasons so far and it that time has produced lots of stars. The best thing about the PKL is that it gives opportunities to a lot of talented youngsters. Every season we see youngsters coming up and making a name for themselves. The eighth season of the PKL also saw many youngsters performing brilliantly. These players have made an impact on the game and the league and many different teams will be keeping an eye on them for next season.

5. Mohit Goyat (Puneri Paltan)
Puneri Paltan’s Mohit Goyat had managed to impress in his debut season of the PKL. He made 21 appearances and earned 187 points for his team. He had a strike rate of 55%. The young raider was the most successful in a do-or-die situation and managed to accumulate 49 points from it throughout the season. He now has the experience of one season behind him and he will be back with more maturity in the next season. Mohit could easily fit into the role of the main raider and thus a lot of eyes will be on him in the next auction.
4. Rinku (U Mumba)
Rinku was the most successful defender for U Mumba last season. He managed to score 60 points in 22 matches and finished fourth on the overall list. If he had received support from another defender in his team then U Mumba could have put up a better performance. Rinku is a very skillful player and many teams will be after him if U Mumba decides to release the defender.
3. Guman Singh (Patna Pirates)
Despite being just his second season, the skill displayed by Guman Singh last season can be seen as the making of a future star. Guman Singh won 27 points from 10 matches which included a Super-10. Although he doesn’t have a huge points tally against his name, Guman Singh has shown that given the chances, he could become a very successful assist raider. He is an expert in securing points in the crucial stages. This could mean big bids in the upcoming auctions.
2. Rakesh (Gujarat Giants)
Rakesh secured the most points for Gujarat Giants in the 8th season of the PKL. In 22 matches he has secured 140 points and was the main raider for his team. His height gives him an advantage for the raids. On top of that, his speed is an asset. There will be many offers for him as well in the auction for next season.
1. Bharat (Bengaluru Bulls)
Young raider Bharat was a big positive for Bengaluru Bulls in the last season of the PKL. He came in the form of an emerging player and secured 129 points in 23 matches for Bengaluru Bulls. The special thing about Bharat is that he also earns points for his team in defense. This can prove to be a big asset for any team in the league. Therefore many franchises will be looking to add him to their team.
