National Games Kabaddi 2022: Groups, schedule and results

Men and Women matches will take place over five days.
The National Games 2022 are being held in Gujarat. 44 different sports would be held throughout the competition. The last edition of the National Games was organized in the year 2015 in Kerala. The 36th National Games is being played from September 27 to October 10 and about eight thousand players will take part in different competitions. All matches are taking place in Gujarat, - across the cities of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar. However, Cycling (Track) event will take place in Delhi.
Kabaddi matches will also be played at the National Games. There are separate categories and groups for Men’s and Women’s sports. In this article, we provide more information about the teams, the schedule, and the timings of the Kabaddi matches at the upcoming National Games.
Kabaddi Teams will also be taking part in the upcoming National Games
A total of sixteen teams – eight each in men's and women's format will take part in the Kabaddi Sport at the upcoming National Games. Men’s Championship will comprise teams from Maharashtra, Goa, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Services, and Gujarat. On the other hand, the Women’s Kabaddi Roster will have teams from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Gujarat. All the Kabaddi matches at the National Games will be played at the TransStadia Arena in Ahmedabad.
The Group Stages has begun on 26th of September with the Final Match to be played on the 1st of October. The Kabaddi Games at the National Games conclude just in time for the Pro Kabaddi League. The National Games could be a preparatory tournament for the upcoming PKL Season, scheduled to commence on the 7th of October.
