The eleventh edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has wrapped up its first leg in Hyderabad and has now moved to Noida for the second leg. Patna Pirates will host the last edition’s runners-up Haryana Steelers in their ninth league stage fixture. The Pirates seem to have settled down really well after a chaotic start to their season.

The three-time Pro Kabaddi League champions come into this game on the back of a huge win against the Gujarat Giants. They have won five out of their last seven games and are riding high on confidence. The Shubham Shinde-led side are placed fourth on the PKL 11 table with 27 points in hand and a win against Haryana could propel them to the top of the table.

Haryana Steelers on the other hand have bounced back big time after losing their opening game. The Steelers have been one of the most entertaining sides to watch this Pro Kabaddi League season and have delivered good performances. They sit at the top of the table with 31 points to their name and have secured six wins in their last seven outings. 

The upcoming game will be the 12th Pro Kabaddi League meeting between the two sides. Both teams have won five games each while just one game has ended in a draw. It has always been an evenly poised contest between the two sides. Last season, Patna Pirates emerged victorious in the first game by 13 points before Haryana Steelers bounced back with a 39-32 win in the second game.
