The much-awaited auction will take place in Mumbai.

Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11) has officially underway with the Auctions set to happen in Mumbai on August 15 and 16. The initial talks were to conduct the Auction in the last week of May so that the league could be brought back to its traditional July – September window.

But negotiations between Mashal Sports, Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India and Star Sports India went on for a long time which delayed the auction and then the league as well. The auction will be happening from the Jio World Centre in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai on two days. August 15th, India’s Independence Day will see players in the top categories up for grabs.

The first day of PKL 11 auction is expected to be a small affair with the auction scheduled to be held from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. But August 16 will see action throughout the day from 10 AM to 5:30 PM. The players will be available in four categories with A & B being sold on the first day and C & D along with the unsold players will go under the hammer on the second day.

It promises to be an exciting day as many top players like Pawan Sehrawat, Fazel Atrachali, Mohammadreza Shadloui, and Maninder Singh will try to break the bank once again. The auction also provides a comeback trail for the likes of Sandeep Narwal, Deepak Niwas Hooda, and Jang-Kung Lee who were missed in season 10. The fans can catch all the action Live on Star Sports Channel and Hotstar.
