PKL 11: Bengal Warriorz complete squad

The winners of the 2019 edition used their FBM card well in the auction.

Bengal Warriorz spent a huge chunk of their purse in the 11th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11) auction to retain the services of Maninder Singh. The star raider scored 198 points for the outfit in the 10th season of the league in 21 appearances. 

Bengaluru Bulls had won the bidding war for Maninder Singh at 1.15 cr but Bengal Warriorz used their FBM (Final Bid Match) card to match the winning bid and recruit the man who could make the difference in the upcoming season.

Apart from signing Maninder Singh, Bengal Warriorz also secured the services of highly rated and experienced defender Fazel Atrachali. The base price for the defender was 30 lac but the outfit outbid other suitors to land the Iranian powerhouse for a 50 lac price. The franchise also snapped up Mayur Jagannath Kadam to fortify their defence in the 11th season of the Pro Kabaddi League.

In addition, Bengal Warriorz also spent 41 lac on the services of Arjun Rathi who will add further quality to the defensive department. Judging by their recruitment policy, the 2019 champions of the PKL could go long in the upcoming edition.
