“It is nothing huge, just a little pulled muscle” said coach Joginder Narwal peaking to the media alongside Ashu Malik who delivered a stellar performance in the PKL 11 game despite succumbing to a narrow defeat at the hands of PKL 10 runners Haryana Steelers.

Naveen Kumar’s stellar impact over the years
Naveen Kumar, fondly known as the Naveen Express is not the captain of the Dabang Delhi team but is a cornerstone of their stellar performances in the league over the years.
Naveen may have had a quieter start to PKL 11, but his impressive career record shows why he’s still one of the league’s standout players. With over 800 raid points in under 100 matches, Naveen Kumar holds the title of the fastest player to achieve this milestone—a testament to his game-changing ability.
Leading Dabang Delhi to a PKL title and a runner-up finish in previous seasons, Naveen Kumar’s talent as both a raider and leader is undeniable. This season, his partnership with Ashu Malik has made Dabang Delhi a tough team to beat, even as Naveen continues to settle in. With a not-out rate of 76.47% and 24 raid points across his first four matches, his impact remains clear.
Averaging 6 raid points per match with a 47.05% successful raid rate, he’s showing consistency and potential to explode at any moment.
Dabang Delhi’s roller coaster ride in PKL 11
As for Dabang Delhi, they started PKL 11 with a bang but the campaign trajectory didn’t go as much they had hoped for. They pulled off a stellar win against U Mumba in their PKL 11 curtain raiser but soon succumbed to a loss against UP Yoddhas. They followed it up with a narrow win over Telugu Titans but could not carry the momentum against Haryana Steelers.
Dabang Delhi now sits at the fifth position in the PKL 11 Points Table and will take on Pardeep Narwal’s Bengaluru Bulls next in PKL 11 on October 29.
