PKL 11: Dabang Delhi KC complete squad

Sesason 8 champions have a very good mix of experienced and young players.

Dabang Delhi K.C. is one of the teams that made a lot of purchases in the two-day auction for season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11). The season eight winners had a topsy-turvy season last year, as they ended their campaign in the Eliminator for the second consecutive season. The finish had come after they lost their talismanic raider Naveen Kumar in the first half of the season.

In the absence of Naveen, Ashu Malik carried the raiding responsibilities single-handedly. But the struggle came with the secondary raider part. The season eight champions tried to fill the spot with the likes of Manjeet and Meetu but in vain. The team will not only have Naveen Express back but also have made a big purchase of Siddharth Desai who will be more handy in a trio of raiders.

Kabaddi is a game of hunting in pairs, and the Dabangs had a pair of Yogesh Dahiya and Ashish as their corner specialists. If Yogesh Dahiya poses a threat in the right, Ashish is the other man who created a stir in the left corner. The duo troubled every raider and hence has been retained. The former champions have done it at the expense of the experienced Vishal Bharadwaj.

Joginder Narwal as the new coach is a veteran of defense and has continued to invest in youngsters. If there is one part that Joginder would want to get right is their cover combo. They have retained Vikrant, Mohit, and Himmat Antil for the season. The season eight champions would love to see their investment yield expected returns from them, which can prompt them to another title.
