PKL 11: Haryana Steelers vs UP Yoddhas Predicted 7, team news, head-to-head & free live stream
Earlier in PKL 11, Haryana Steelers defeated UP Yoddhas.
Table-toppers Haryana Steelers will face UP Yoddhas in match 117 of the Pro Kabaddi 2024 (PKL 11) at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune.
Haryana Steelers placed at the top of the table with 15 wins. Haryana are the only team to qualify for the playoffs so far. They have a tally of 78 points in 20 matches, winning fifteen and losing five matches. They endured a setback in their previous match though, losing to Dabang Delhi 37-44. A win against Yoddhas though, will assure the runners-up from the last edition a top-two spot.
On the other hand, UP Yoddhas are very close to sealing a playoff spot, as they have earned 64 points in 19 matches. The side has played out ten wins, six losses, and three ties. In their previous fixture, they beat fellow top-six contender U Mumba by a margin of 30-27, thus extending their unbeaten run to six matches. A win against the Steelers would virtually seal them a spot in the playoffs.
When the two sides faced off earlier this season, Steelers won by a slim margin of 30–28.

Players to watch out for:
Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh (Haryana Steelers):
It is impossible to keep ‘Showstopper Shadloui’ away from the game. If the Iranian all-rounder, who was at the top of the charts in the list of most tackle points last season, wasn’t lethal enough in defence, he is scoring raid points for will too.
Shadloui is currently occupying the top spot in the list of most tackle points this season too, with 67 tackle points. What puts him in a different league is his tally of 47 raid points, proving especially effective when the opposition is reduced to two or three. It will not only be interesting to see how he fares against in-form raiders like Gagan Gowda and Bhavani Rajput but also the number of raids he decides to make against a strong Yoddhas defense.
Hitesh (UP Yoddhas):
While Sahul Kumar was UP Yoddhas‘ first choice right corner, the veteran’s declining returns meant that Hitesh eventually got a spot in the starting VII. Fair to say, the youngster hasn’t looked back, scoring 59 tackle points to be placed joint fourth in the list of most tackle points.
