Gujarat Giants are coming into this match following five consecutive losses in PKL 11.

Gujarat Giants and Haryana Steelers will play each other in Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 (PKL 11) when they face off for the second time at the Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in the second match of the Noida leg. The two played each other in their previous match with Manpreet Singh’s side securing a victory by a big margin. The score of the match was 35-22 in favour of the Steelers.

Haryana Steelers outclassed the Giants of Ram Meher Singh in every department in the previous face-off in PKL 11. They scored more points through raids, had more super raids in the match, had more points through tackles and finished the match inflicting all-out twice on the Giants in response to zero by the Neeraj Kumar-captained side.

Guman Singh was the only saving face for the Gujarat Giants as he completed his second Super 10 of the season after a poor start. He finished the match with 11 points. Jitender Yadav was the pick of the players for the Giants in the defence as he scored four tackle points.

For Haryana Steelers, Vinay scored nine touch points and Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh had an all-round performance, finishing with six points. The duo of Sanjay Dhull and Jaideep contributed with seven tackle points.

Gujarat Giants would be more desperate for a win given the loss in the previous match between the two teams and their position on the PKL 11 table. However, that doesn’t mean that the Steelers wouldn’t be more hungry than ever for all five points from the match. They would like to continue building momentum and a win here would see them reach second place on the PKL 11 table.

Guman Singh vs Sanjay Dhull

Guman Singh has had an average season so far in PKL 11. The former U Mumba raider started the season poorly before finally finding some form in the previous matches. He now has two Super 10s, the only one from the team to score even one, and is the most consistent raider for the Giants.

Sanjay is the best and the most in-form defender of the best defensive unit in the league. So it would be interesting to watch the battle between the two.

Vinay vs Jitender Yadav

Vinay was the best raider for the Steelers against the Giants in the previous PKL 11 match. He, as aforementioned, scored nine points and has been Manpreet Singh’s go-to man when it comes to getting points through raids.

Jitender Yadav had the best outing of all the Gujarat Giants defenders against the Steelers in Hyderabad and coach Ram Meher Singh would hope his left corner does the trick this time as well against Vinay.

Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyanesh vs Himanshu

Himanshu has performed well, more importantly, better than the likes of Rakesh Sungroya and Parteek Dahiya when it comes to scoring points through raids in PKL 11. He has almost as many points as the two star-raiders combined in the league. While Himanshu’s contribution in the tackles has been limited so far given the additional responsibility of being the second raider of the team, the former Tamil Thalaivas man doesn’t shy away from making a tackle or two when needed.

Mohammadreza Shadloui is perhaps the most valuable player on the Manpreet Singh-coached side. The left corner has been more active than ever in raids this season while still being exceptional in his tackling duties. The battle between the two all-rounders will perhaps decide the fate of the PKL 11 match.
