PKL 11 Highlights: Dabang Delhi 47-25 Bengal Warriorz | Patna Pirates 37-32 Puneri Paltan

Dabang Delhi will face Bengal Warriorz (DEL vs BEN) in match 115 of the Pro Kabaddi 2024 (PKL 11) at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune. The former, who have almost qualified, will be vying for a top two spot, while the latter need to win to keep their mathematical chances alive.
Dabang Delhi have earned 66 points in 19 matches. So far they have played ten wins, five losses and four tied matches. With both Ashu and Naveen firing in tandem, the season 8 champions have become a fearsome unit. They will be high on confidence, having defeated table-toppers Haryana Steelers 44-37 in their last match.
On the other hand, Bengal Warriorz are nearly out of playoffs contention, with 40 points after 18 matches. They have won just five games and lost ten, with three games ending in ties. Despite having a star-studded squad, things haven’t worked out for them in offense or defense. In their last match though, they secured a tie (31-31) against an in-form UP Yoddhas.

Three-time champions Patna Pirates will face Puneri Paltan (PAT vs PUN) in match 116 of the Pro Kabaddi 2024 (PKL 11) at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune. Entering the last two weeks of the league, games such as these, which include two teams in strong contention for a playoff spot, can heavily influence the points table.
Patna Pirates have 63 points after 18 matches. They won eight games and lost six, with one game ending in a stalemate. With a massive score difference of +90, they are favourites to clinch a top-two spot after the Haryana Steelers. In their previous match, the three-time champions had to battle hard to defeat Tamil Thalaivas 42-38.
On the other hand, Puneri Paltan have earned 54 points in 19 matches. They would need at least two more wins to have a realistic chance of qualifying. The defending champions have played out eight wins, eight losses and three ties. Under new coach Ashok Shinde, they got a much-needed win in their previous match to revive their campaign, handing the Bengaluru Bulls a 56-18 demolition.
