The 38-point margin marked the fourth-biggest win in Pro Kabaddi League history and ended Puneri Paltan‘s three-match losing streak. Akash Shinde and Mohit Goyat led the charge with eight points each, while defenders Gaurav Khatri and Aman earned well-deserved High 5s.

“Ajay Sir is a legendary player in the PKL and now that we are playing and training under him, it feels good. I feel he should have joined us earlier, ” said Puneri Paltan raider Pankaj Mohite.

The match started on an even note but quickly swung in favour of Puneri Paltan, who inflicted the first ALL-OUT within eight minutes. Akash Shinde’s clinical raids and Puneri’s rock-solid defence kept the Bengaluru Bulls at bay. By halftime, Puneri Paltan had built a commanding 26-7 lead.

“All the remaining games including this one were important for us, and we need to win them all, that was the only thing in my mind,” said Ajay Thakur.

On Pardeep Narwal and Bengaluru Bulls

The second half was no different, with the Bulls struggling to find momentum. Puneri’s defenders, led by Gaurav Khatri and Aman, neutralized Bengaluru’s key players, including the “Dubki King” Pardeep Narwal. The defending champions inflicted four ALL-OUTs in total, leaving the Bengaluru Bulls reeling.

“I have been with Pardeep for a long time. He is a great player and everyone has ups and downs in life. He might be down right now and not able to perform but he is a tiger and will bounce back. No one has added to Kabaddi’s legacy as much as Pardeep.” concluded Ajay Thakur.

The game ended with substitute Aryavardhan Navale scoring a sensational five-point Super Raid to seal the emphatic win. With this massive PKL 11 victory, Puneri Paltan reignited their playoff hopes in style.
