Pawan Sehrawat on performance

When Pawan Sehrawat was asked about his match-winning performance, he said that it is not important who scores points, but winning is more important.

“10 points don’t matter. If we could have won the last game where I had scored three points, that would have been more important for me. It doesn’t matter who scores a Super 10, be it Vijay, Ashish, Praful, or me, winning is what matters the most. We will look to make changes for the next game against the Patna Pirates,” he said.

Pawan Sehrawat on Titans’ defenders

Telugu Titans’ backline have been fragile in their last few outings. Speaking about the same Pawan Sehrawat said that the team is confident that they will regain their form soon.

“Our defenders did not play well in the last five matches. But, this is the same defense that has scored 15 tackle points in a game and we cannot forget that. It doesn’t take much time to make a comeback. The entire scenario will change in the game where we will score 15 tackle points. We are confident and we will practice in the upcoming game,” he added.

Ram Mehar Singh on losing the match

Gujarat Giants coach Ram Mehar Singh shared his views on the game and said that they lost the match due to defensive mistakes made by his players.

“We had the game in control for 30 points and we had a healthy lead. The defense made mistakes, especially Jitender Yadav. We expected him to get an ankle hold, but he couldn’t we lost the match because of our defense because our raiders kept on performing from the start itself,”

Message to the team

When asked what message he had for his players for the final remaining matches of the season, Ram Meher Singh said, “We told our players to play with a free mind and go all out. There’s no chance of qualifying, but we want our players to show their calibre and give their best in the remaining four games. But, the mistakes by JItender Yadav cost us to game,” he concluded.
