Dabang Delhi KC now sit in fourth place in the PKL 11 points table with two wins from three games.
The Dabang Delhi K.C. bounced back to winning form in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11), clinching a thrilling victory over the Telugu Titans on Saturday at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Led by their star captain, Naveen Kumar, who scored 15 points, and supported by Ashu Malik with an equally impressive 15, Dabang Delhi came out on top with a close 41-37 win.
Speaking to the media after the game, Dabang Delhi captain Naveen Kumar and Telugu Titans captain Pawan Sehrawat shared their thoughts on the PKL 11 game.
For the Telugu Titans, Pawan Sehrawat delivered an outstanding performance with 18 points, while Ashish Narwal added another 9 to keep the game competitive.
On the game and Ashu Malik
In this high-octane PKL 11 matchup, Dabang Delhi K.C. came out firing, with Naveen Kumar and Ashu Malik picking up early points. However, the Telugu Titans, powered by their home crowd, saw Ashish Narwal and Pawan Sehrawat also stepping up to deliver the initial points for their side. After the first exchanges, it was Dabang Delhi K.C. who led the contest, looking strong in the opening phase.
“We made some mistakes in the first half, we have to rectify them and get better. It’s really fun to play with Ashu. He is a very good player, ” said Naveen speaking on the PKL 11 game.

Around the 10-minute mark, Pawan Sehrawat turned the tide for the Telugu Titans with back-to-back Super Raids, pushing them into a narrow 1-point lead as the crowd erupted in support.
As the half progressed, Pawan stepped up further, securing an ALL OUT just before the break and helping the Titans build a 20-15 advantage at halftime. Pawan’s Super 10 in the first half showcased his high-flying form, giving the Titans a real shot in this PKL 11 clash.
“We have coach sir too. he is like a motivation for us. He is the power behind the team’s success and we do what he says and that’s why we are doing good, ” Naveen added.
The second half saw Dabang Delhi K.C. roar back into contention, leveling the scores within minutes. Ashu Malik crossed the 10-point mark early in the half, while the “Naveen Express” began to pick up steam.
On the third consecutive loss
The Telugu Titans‘ lead was soon wiped out, as Dabang Delhi seized the momentum. Naveen completed his Super 10 just before the half-hour mark, and Dabang Delhi K.C. surged ahead with a 6-point cushion going into the final stretch.
“It was a bad loss but it has been only four matches. We have more matches now, we can definitely do better. I don’t think anyone motivates us as much as coach motivates us. he gives us examples where we have made a comeback. the players are young and it will take some time. but once they play well, they will do very well,” Pawan Kumar Sehrawt reflected on the loss.

With the game in their grasp, Dabang Delhi K.C. focused on consolidating their lead, showcasing strong defensive tactics to keep the Titans at bay.
In the final minutes, they delivered a decisive ALL OUT on the Telugu Titans, effectively sealing the victory. After a fierce PKL 11 showdown, Dabang Delhi walked off the mat with a well-earned win in this nail-biting encounter.
“Telugu Titans fans are amazing. they are very supportive. When the crowd is so supportive, you want to win it for them but I am sad we could not do it, ” Pawan concluded.
