On Haryana Steeler’s performance in PKL 11

Dominating on the offensive front, Mohammadreza Shadloui, Shivam Patare, and Vinay led the charge, while Rahul achieved a High 5, lifting the Steelers to third place.

Gujarat Giants started strong, taking the first two points through a tackle by Sombir and a successful raid by Rakesh. However, Haryana quickly turned the tide, with Shivam and Vinay scoring six points combined to establish an early lead.

“My players are like my brothers, we have immense love for each other. Even if we don’t win the trophy and lose all the matches, I will still be happy because I know we have given out 100 percent,” said coach Manpreet Singh.

On facing U Mumba next in PKL 11

The Giants showed some resilience with Jitender Yadav’s Super Tackle on Vinay but struggled to keep up offensively. Haryana Steelers will go on to face U Mumba next in PKL 11.

“U Mumba is a balanced team, they have good players like Sunil, Parvesh so it will be a tough match but it will be fun,”

“Sunil, Parvesh who has have played under me for years are now playing for them, but Manjeet is in great form. For us to win we have to break Sunil and get him out else we can’t win, but at the same time as long as my Jaideep is on the mat it will be difficult for them to win,” added coach Manpreet Singh.

On Vishal Tate

Additionally, Haryana Steelers coach Manpreet Singh also heaped praise on talented youngster Vishal Tate.

“Vishal Tate is like the backbone of the team, he shows a lot of character during the matches and in practice. So when his time he will come and perform as well.”

A pivotal moment came when Ghanshyam Magar’s Super Raid eliminated three Giants players, followed by Shadloui’s Super Raid for an ALL OUT right before halftime, giving the Steelers a solid six-point lead. The second half saw Haryana in complete control, with Shadloui adding a Super Tackle to extend their lead.

On facing Patna PIrates in PKL 11

Despite Rakesh reaching 400 raid points in the PKL, Gujarat couldn’t close the gap, and the Steelers inflicted a final ALL OUT to seal their impressive win. Gujarat Giants will now face three-time champions Patna Pirates in PKL 11.

“If we play with the momentum that we started the match today, I believe we can win the matches, ” concluded coach Ram Mehar Singh.
