On Pawan Kumar Sehrawat’s injury
Despite a valiant Super 10 from Vijay Malik, the Titans couldn’t match the combined efforts of UP Yoddhas’ raiders Bhavani Rajput and Bharat Hooda, who each achieved Super 10s to propel their team to victory.
The match began cautiously, with both teams feeling each other out before Pawan Sehrawat, the Titans’ captain, sparked action by scoring four of the team’s first six points. However, UP Yoddhas struck back with a timely Super Tackle on Sehrawat, leveling the score and building momentum. However, Pawan Kumar Sehrawat was seen walking out of the mat.
“Pawan has incurred an injury, we don’t know the extent of it yet, now we have to see, ” said the Telugu Titans coach.
On facing the Haryana Steelers next in PKL 11
Although the Titans gained a temporary lead with a powerful four-point Super Raid from Vijay Malik, an ALL OUT helped them go up by three points. Telugu Titans will now go on to face Haryana Steelers in PKL 11.
“We might not have Pawan but we are ready for the challenges, we will work like we do and come prepared, ” said vice-captain Vijay Malik.
On playing Bhavani Rajput over Surender Gill
Entering the second half, the UP Yoddhas executed a successful Super Tackle and quickly inflicted an ALL OUT, shifting the match in their favor. What surprised everyone was Surender Gill being out of the mat. However, that seemed to reaped results.
Bhavani Rajput’s Super 10 sealed an eight-point lead, and despite a final effort by Malik, the Titans couldn’t overcome UP’s dominance. This PKL 11 matchup ended with the Yoddhas reclaiming form in a gripping showdown.
“It is nothing like that, we have different strategies for different matches, Bhavani seemed to be a better choice for this one, you will see Sureneder return to the mat soon, ” concluded UP Yoddhas.
