PKL 11: Will Pawan Sehrawat play against UP Yoddhas tonight?
Telugu Titans are playing without Pawan Sehrawat for five consecutive matches in PKL 11.
Telugu Titans have faced a tough time without their captain and star raider Pawan Sehrawat. As you must be aware, Pawan got injured in the first match against UP Yoddhas and after Pawan was out of that match, Telugu lost by a close margin of 34-40. Pawan has missed five consecutive matches since the injury. In his absence, Telugu lost their last match against Jaipur by a huge margin.
This is why every Kabaddi fan wants to see him on the mat soon. While the coach confirmed that Pawan sustained a minor injury, further details have not been disclosed. The team physio is working on his recovery but has not yet given any update on his fitness. In that case, Pawan Sehrawat might not return to action in the clash against UP Yoddhas in 91st match of the Pro Kabaddi 2024 (PKL 11).

Khel Now has received information from some close sources that Pawan recently returned to his home and was not with the team ahead of the Titans’ first match in the third and final leg of PKL 11 at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune.
Although Vijay Malik and Ashish Narwal have done well to fill in as captain, Pawan’s absence has been felt, especially in critical moments. Titans managed narrow wins over Bengal Warriorz and U Mumba but struggled in a heavy 41-28 loss to Jaipur Pink Panthers in their most recent game.
The pressure is mounting as the Telugu Titans faced tough defeats like against Gujarat Giants and Jaipur, and Pawan’s return could be the spark the team needs. While the coach may have been giving him extra time to recover, the recent losses highlight just how much the team relies on his leadership and raiding skills.
Pawan’s performance in PKL 11
Despite playing only nine matches this season, Pawan Sehrawat has been a standout performer in PKL 11. He has racked up an impressive 95 points with an average of 10.22 raid points per match. His 61.33% success rate in raids, five Super Raids, and six Super 10s underline his brilliance on the mat. Pawan currently ranks ninth for raid points this season, showcasing his consistency and importance to the Titans.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the return of the Indian Kabaddi captain, not just for his skills but for the energy he brings to the team. If the Titans are to bounce back and make a strong finish in PKL 11, they will need their leader back in action sooner rather than later.
The southern outfit are in fifth place in the PKL 11 points table with nine wins and six losses from 15 matches. They will be aiming to break into the top three and return to winning ways when they face UP Yoddhas on December 4.
