PKL 11: Patna Pirates full schedule for Pro Kabaddi League season 11

Three-time champions have once again relied on youth to bring glory.

A young Patna Pirates squad will begin their campaign for the fourth title with a game against defending champions Puneri Paltans in the season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League. The three-time champions will be the last to start their journey as they play their first game on the 21st of October. Ironically, they will be the first to finish the league stage as their final match will be against Gujarat Giants on December 21st.

The men in green will focus on the performance as they have adopted a strategy to build a squad to win rather than hiring a superstar to build a squad around him. The Pirates will be playing seven games in the Hyderabad leg with their final game against inaugural champions Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Their biggest test will be awaited in the Noida leg where they will be playing eight games. Two of which will be against Bengal Warriorz. This season will see a return of two of their former players Shubham Shinde and Jang Kun Lee to their set-up. Both these players had successful stints with the Bengal team and the duo would want to make a statement against their former team.

The Pune leg will see them start their campaign battling against last year’s finalists Haryana Steelers. With the likes of Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltans in the final leg, the Narender Redu coached side would want to be well-prepared to finish the league stage on a positive note and progress to playoffs for the eighth time.
