PKL 11: Tamil Thalaivas complete squad

Thalaivas created history by buying the most expensive player in the auction.
Tamil Thalaivas turned out to be the talking point of the auction for season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11). They broke the bank to spend a whopping 2.15 cr for Sachin Tanwar to make him the most expensive player of season 11. They have reinforced their raiding department with Sachin which already has season nine’s best young player Narender Kandola. He had the company of Ajinkya Pawar in the last two seasons.
Pawar created magic on the mat, especially with do-or-die raids. But the team needed consistent performance and hence they let go of Pawar but they made a jackpot by roping him Sachin, who holds the record for most do-or-die raid points. These two have to do the majority of the scoring if the Thalaivas have to be on the right side of the results.
The men in yellow have retained the majority of their defensive unit from the previous campaign, and it will be their main weapon. M. Abishek and Mohit, one of the best-performing duos since Season 9, are paired for the cover roles. In the meantime, Sagar and Sahil Gulia will be the Thalaivas’ mat carriers for the corner positions.
With 121 tackle points over the past two seasons, Sahil Gulia has led the Thalaivas in defensive scoring, followed by Sagar with 114. If the Tamil Thalaivas are to have a successful season, a lot will depend on this duo, who is most likely to lead the side. They have able backups in Amirhossein Bastami and Himanshu, which could be used during super tackle situations.
Tamil Thalaivas Squad for the PKL 11:

Defenders: M. Abishek, Himanshu, Sagar, Aashish, Mohit, Sahil Gulia, Anuj Gawade, Ronak, Nitesh Kumar, Amirhossein Bastami
