PKL 11: Telugu Titans complete squad

The Hyderabad-based franchise has finished at the bottom of the table for the last three seasons.
If there is a team that can vouch for a better performance in season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11) than its previous seasons, then it has to be Telugu Titans. The team from the south finished as wooden spooners in the last three seasons and the only way they can move will be towards up. The decade-old franchise looks determined to get better results.
They walked the talk by appointing Krishna Kumar Hooda as their head coach. The Dronacharya awardee known for picking and developing talents retained a young core, most of which made their PKL debut last season. The likes of Sanjeevi S and Praful Zaware will look to get raid points and Elite retentions Ajit Pawar and Shankar will be protecting the defense.
They were expected to make big moves in the auction and it all started with getting back the Indian skipper Pawan Sehrawat using the FBM card. Another expected move was the recruitment of Vijay Malik. The all-rounder was one of the finds of coach Hooda and the 27-year-old will be happy to be playing under his guidance again. Vijay will look to contribute a bit more to the defense, as he did in his initial years when Hooda introduced him.
The Titans reinforced their raiding department with Manjeet Sharma, who was a regular in the starting seven of Dabang Delhi last season. It was the defense that lacked power and coordination. They have added power in the auction with the purchase of Krishan Dhull who was the second-best defender last season. Iranian Milad Jabbari will again be with the Titans. If coach Hooda can bring coordination among these people, the Titans could make waves this season.
