In Game Week 3 of Pro Kabaddi League 11 (PKL 11), the defenders stole the spotlight with standout performances that kept their teams in contention. From seasoned veterans to rising young talents, the defenders made all the difference with their fierce tackles and clutch plays.

The list is led by Bengal Warriorz’s captain Fazel Atrachali, who is setting an example with his power and accuracy. The Iranian powerhouse and the Bengal Warriorz skipper Fazel Atrachali lead by example. The defender didn’t just only hold his ground against teams like Haryana Steelers and Dabang Delhi, he even contributed with nine points in two PKL 11 matches.

Gaurav Khatri (Puneri Paltan)

The defending champions Puneri Paltan sit at the top of the PKL 11 Points Table and Gaurav Khatri is one of the reasons why. The youngster has filled the void left by Shadloui and now sits at the top of the list of players with the most tackle points with 33 to his name. He scored 12 points in the two consecutive wins against U Mumba and Gujarat Giants, keeping players like Guman Singh and Ajit Chavan at bay.

Nitin Rawal (Bengaluru Bulls)

After a poor start to PKL 11, Bengaluru Bulls are finally seeing some good results and Nitin Rawal’s performance has been a catalyst behind it. The defender scored seven points in the narrow loss against Telugu Titans and four in the win over Tamil Thalaivas.

Aman (Puneri Paltan)

Another young defender who is making strides in PKL 11 is Aman. Alongside Khatri, Aman has been outstanding as well. Although he scored only six points in two matches, Aman has been a standout performer holding the ground for the defending champions.

Sanjay Dhull (Haryana Steelers)

Haryana Steelers‘ stellar start to PKL 11 might have hit a roadblock with two consecutive losses, but Sanjay’s performance has stood out. The defender scored seven points in two matches this week in PKL 11.
