Dabang Delhi kicked off their PKL 11 campaign with a win over U Mumba.

UP Yoddhas will open their Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 (PKL 11) campaign against Dabang Delhi. Dabang Delhi have already won their first game of the season when they got the better of U Mumba 36-28 courtesy of a Super 10 from Ashu Malik. With the Super 10, Ashu Malik has started from where he left off in the previous season as he finished the top raider of the league.

UP Yoddhas, this season without the services of the Dubki King Pardeep Narwal, will bank on the likes of Surinder Gill and Bharat Hooda to keep the score running. The dynamic duo will be playing together for the first time in the PKL. The PKL 11 game will be played at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on 21st October 2024 at 8:00 pm.

Bharat Hooda (UP Yoddhas)

Bharat Hooda will be a stand-out player of UP Yoddhas in PKL11. broke into the kabaddi scene after being scouted by the legendary Bengaluru Bulls coach Randheer Singh Sehrawat. His first full season for the Bulls went as well as it could have gone with him scoring the most points for the franchise.

However, the second season saw the all-rounder struggle with injuries leading to his departure. UP Yoddhas has shown faith in him after an impressive outing at the nationals and he will be eager to fill in the shoes of Pardeep Narwal.

Naveen Kumar (Dabang Delhi)

Although his PKL 11 start was not as great as expected, Naveen Kumar, as he is commonly referred to by his fans, is perhaps the greatest raider Pro Kabaddi League has witnessed. He has more than 800 raid points in less than 100 games, the fastest player to cross the mark.

He has already captained the franchise to a PKL title and once led them to a runners-up finish. Under his leadership and with the partnership between him and Ashu Malik, Dabang Delhi have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in PKL 11.
