PKL 12 Auction: Dabang Delhi rope in Iranian defender Amir Hossein Bastami for 30 lakhs

Amir Hossein Bastami finds a new home in PKL 12.
Bengal Warriorz placed the first bid for Amir Hossein Bastami at his base price of INR 20 lakhs at the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) auction. Patna Pirates followed them closely for a few bids before making way for Dabang Delhi. The Warrioz and the Delhi-based franchise took turns to bid for the Iranian all-rounder, but it was Dabang Delhi who had the final say.
The former PKL champions roped in the services of Amir Hossein Bastami for INR 30 lakhs. His former franchise, Tamil Thalaivas, decided against using their FBM card on the overseas player.
The auction for the 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is underway in Mumbai. The auction for Category A and Category B players will take place on Saturday (May 31), while the Category C and D players will go under the hammer on Sunday (June 1).
A look at Amir Hossein Bastami’s PKL Journey
