Neeraj Narwal was part of Dabang Delhi’s winning campaign in season 8.

Dabang Delhi have found Naveen Kumar‘s replacement in Neeraj Narwal, who was picked up by the franchise for INR 32.6 lakhs. Following an intense bidding war between U Mumba and Dabang Delhi K.C., the latter managed to get the player.

This will be Neeraj’s second stint with the club and the third season with the former champions. He previously played for Dabang Delhi in PKL Seasons 7 & 8. The Indian raider made his Pro Kabaddi League debut with the Delhi-based franchise and will be excited for his homecoming. He is a Category C player in the PKL 12 auction and went into the auction with a base price of INR 13 lakhs.

A record-breaking 10 players were sold for over INR 1 Cr on Day 1 of the PKL Auction on Saturday (May 31). The action now shifts to Day 2 of the auction, where Category C and Category D players will go under the hammer. The base price for Category C players has been fixed at Rs 13 lakh, while the base price of Category D players is Rs 9 lakh.

All players from Category C will be called up in the auction, following which teams will submit names of players from Category D and the unsold domestic players for the accelerated round.

A look at Neeraj Narwal’s PKL Journey:

Neeraj Narwal began his PKL journey with Dabang Delhi K.C. in 2019. He served the club for a couple of seasons before away. Neeraj has been a part of Bengaluru Bulls for two seasons, and in the last edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, he played for Jaipur Pink Panthers.

The raider has 293 points (249 raid points and 44 tackle points) from 77 matches across five seasons. Neeraj has 10 Super Raids and 5 Super 10s in the PKL.
