Pardeep Narwal was released by Bengaluru Bulls.

All-time Pro Kabaddi League top scorer Pardeep Narwal shockingly went unsold in the PKL 12 Auction on Saturday (May 31). He became the second player, after Sahil Gulia, to attract no bids at the blockbuster event.

Pardeep Narwal came into the auction with a base price of INR 20 lakhs but failed to find any takers. The star Indian raider will be brought up in the auction tomorrow with hopes of finding a new home in the PKL Season 12.

A look at Pardeep Narwal’s PKL Journey

Pardeep Narwal, fondly called the ‘Dubki King’ has a rich history in the Pro Kabaddi League, having made his debut in Season 2 with Bengaluru Bulls. He had a poor start to his PKL career, scoring nine points from six matches with the Bulls.

Narwal joined the Patna Pirates for the third season of the Pro Kabaddi League and served the franchise for five seasons. His numbers with the Pirates were 121 points, 133 points, 369 points, 233 points, and 304 points between PKL Season 3 and 7.

During his time with the Patna Pirates, Pardeep Narwal earned the titles of ‘Dubki King’ and ‘Record Breaker’. He won the PKL trophy with the Patna-based franchise in three consecutive seasons. The star Indian raider also broke several records and got past the 300-points mark twice in five seasons.

Pardeep Narwal joined UP Yoddhas for PKL Season 8 and earned 188 points from 24 matches. He followed it up with 220 points from 22 matches for the Yoddhas in the ninth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. Narwal couldn’t live up to the franchise’s expectations as the Indian player earned 122 points from 17 matches in PKL Season 10.

The Record Breaker joined Bengaluru Bulls for PKL Season 11 for his second stint with the franchise. He earned 111 points from 20 matches and was released by the Bulls ahead of the upcoming edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.

Overall, Pardeep has a whopping 1810 points from 190 matches across 10 seasons in the Pro Kabaddi League. The 27-year-old player has 82 Super Raids and 88 Super 10s from 3135 raids thus far in the league.
