After two seasons, Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh returns to Puneri Paltan in PKL 12.

Puneri Paltan have roped in the services of Iranian all-rounder Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibaksh for INR 13 lakhs. Earlier in the day, Nabibaksh went unsold as he found no bidders around the room.

He was called up in the auction for the second time in the accelerated round for overseas players. The Pune-based club signed the player at his base price, as none of the remaining 11 teams showed interest in bidding for the player.

The upcoming PKL season will be Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibaksh’s sixth season in the league. This will also be his second season with Season 10 champions Puneri Paltan. He previously played for the Paltan in PKL Season 9. The Iranian player has been part of the Bengal Warriorz and Gujarat Giants’ teams for a couple of seasons each.

Day 2 of the Pro Kabaddi League 12 Player Auction (PKL 12) is underway in Mumbai with players from Categories C and D going under the hammer.
