PKL 12 Auction: Sahil Gulia goes unsold on day 1

Sahil Gulia was released by Tamil Thalaivas ahead of PKL 12 auction.
Sahil Gulia became the first player to go unsold in the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) auction. The Indian defender found no takers on the opening day of the auction in Mumbai on Saturday (May 31). He will be brought back into the auction if any teams show interest in signing him towards the end of the event tomorrow.
Teams might consider getting Sahil Gulia aboard if they have enough purse left and have covered all bases at the auction.
The PKL player auction for the 12th edition is taking place in Mumbai on May 31 and June 1. The Category A and B players went under the hammer on Day 1, while we’ll witness the Category C and D players going under the hammer on the second day of the auction. With several big names released, all 12 teams will have a busy two days at the auction.
A Look at Sahul Gulia’s PKL Journey
Sahil Gulia began his PKL career with Tamil Thalaivas in the eighth edition of the tournament. He earned 30 points from 18 matches in his debut season before putting up a better performance in the following season. Sahil earned 57 points from 23 matches in PKL Season 9 and was only getting better with every season passing by.
In PKL Season 10, Sahil earned a total of 69 points from 22 matches, making it his best season in the Pro Kabaddi League. He earned 31 points from 13 matches in the 11th edition of the league and was released by the Thalaivas after four seasons.
In total, the left corner has 187 tackle points from 76 matches in the Pro Kabaddi League. Additionally, he has 14 Super Tackles and 10 High 5s from 356 tackles thus far in the competition.
