Bengal Warriorz finished 10th in the last season.

Bengal Warriorz were one of the teams that had a forgettable Pro Kabaddi League Season 11. They finished in the 10th position with 14 losses, 3 ties, and just 5 wins. As expected, the Warriorz released most of their players before the PKL 12 auction.

Bengal Warriorz had a balanced side on paper, but they failed miserably on the court in the previous season. They had high hopes from Fazel Atrachali, Maninder Singh, Mayur Kadam, Pranay Rane, and more, but none of them played well.

As a result, they have retained only five players, including one ERP, and the rest are existing NYPs. On that note, let’s take a look at the list of players released and retained by Bengal Warriorz ahead of the PKL season 12 auction.

List of retained players:

Elite Retained Players: Vishwas S.

Existing New Young Players: Yash Malik, Manjeet, Deep Kumar, Sushil Kambrekar.

List of released players:

Fazel Atrachali, Maharudra Garje, Maninder Singh, Chai-Ming Chang, Akash Chavan, Arjun Rathi, Nitin Kumar, Pranay Rane, Nitesh Kumar, Mayur Kadam, Praveen Thakur, Sambhaji Wabale, Hem Raj, Shreyas Umbardand, Aditya Shinde, Deepak Shinde.

They have created a lot of room for new players and would want to get the best possible combination for the team. Similarly, they have appointed their new head coach, Naveen Kumar, and would expect him to create a better squad that can provide better results.

Bengal will have to make a lot of strategies before going into the auction. They have to create a whole new team from the beginning. It will be interesting to see which star players they will target to get their hands on with their big purse balance. Which big player do you think will join the Bengal Warriorz for the upcoming season? Let’s know in the comments section.
