Haryana Steelers are the defending champions of PKL.

Haryana Steelers had a fabulous outing in PKL season 11, winning their maiden Pro Kabaddi League title last season. They topped the PKL points table with 16 wins and six losses in 22 matches. The Steelers ended their group stage campaign with a score difference of 112.

The Haryana-based franchise defeated the UP Yoddhas 28-25 in the 1st semi-final encounter to storm into their second consecutive PKL final. They easily edged past Patna Pirates 32-23 in the summit clash to lift the PKL trophy.

The Steelers retained their core squad ahead of the PKL 12 auction. They showed faith in their star performers and had a decent outing in the auction. With Haryana Steelers having built a formidable squad for the upcoming season, let’s take a look at their top five best players for PKL 12.

5. Shivam Patare

Shivam Patare will play as the left raider for Haryana Steelers in the upcoming edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. He scored 120 points in 23 matches in his debut season with the Steelers and followed it up with 167 points in 24 outings in PKL 11.

With 287 points from two seasons, Shivam is among the best players in the Haryana Steelers squad for Pro Kabaddi 2025.

4. Vinay

Raider Vinay has been part of the Haryana Steelers squad for five seasons since 2019 and was retained by the franchise ahead of the PKL Season 12 auction. He has bagged 545 points in 100 matches across five seasons in the league with the Steelers.

Vinay has earned 100+ raid points in a single season thrice in the Pro Kabaddi League, including the last two seasons.

3. Rahul Sethpal

Right corner Rahul Sethpal made his PKL debut with U Mumba in season 8. He served the club for two seasons before moving to the Haryana Steelers. Following two successful seasons with the Steelers, they showed faith in their player by retaining him.

Rahul earned 76 points in his maiden season with the Steelers in 2023/24. In the previous edition of PKL, he bagged 76 points. The Indian defender will retain his place in the starting 7 for the Haryana-based club.

2. Jaideep Dahiya

Left cover, Jaideep Dahiya, was retained by the Steelers ahead of the PKL 12 auction. He began his PKL career with the Haryana-based franchise in 2021 and has been with the club ever since.

The Indian defender has scored 231 points in 87 matches across four seasons in the league. Jaideep will be Haryana Steelers’ main left cover in the 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.

1. Naveen Kumar

Naveen Kumar was sold to the Haryana Steelers for ₹1.20 crores in the PKL season 12 auction. The Indian raider has been part of Dabang Delhi for six seasons since making his PKL debut.

He has amassed 1,120 points in 107 matches, including 16 Super Raids and 66 Super 10s. With Naveen Kumar joining a new franchise, he is expected to be a key raider for the defending champions in the upcoming PKL season.
