PKL 12: Narender Redhu reveals reason behind his unique celebration against Haryana Steelers

Jaipur Pink Panthers registered their sixth win in PKL 12 by defeating Haryana Steelers.
Nothing seems to be working for the defending champions, Haryana Steelers, as they lost their second consecutive match in the Chennai leg of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12).
The Steelers only have themselves to blame, as they couldn’t capitalize on their advantage. They had a ten-point lead at one point of the match before the Jaipur Pink Panthers climbed their way back from behind and went on to win the game 37-36.
After the match, representatives from both teams addressed the media and shared their thoughts.

Thoughts on the game and the unique celebration
Jaipur Pink Panthers head coach Narender Redhu spoke about his thoughts on the game and said, “Haryana Steelers are a strong team, and I believe that both of their raiders are performing well every match. They won four consecutive matches in Jaipur. We planned to play freely.
“Until half-time, the match was in their favor, but after that, Sagar said to me with complete confidence that he would give his 100%. So we gave Sagar and Ali full freedom, and from there, the match turned,” he added.
Narender Redhu reveals the reason behind his celebration. He said, “There was no reason behind my celebration. I did it because these players played well and defeated a great team like Haryana.”
Thoughts ahead of the next game
Narender Redhu shared his feelings ahead of the next game against Puneri Paltan and said, “Puneri Paltan are also a good team, just like Haryana, with good raiders and defenders. They are an all-rounder team. But we have no problem with that, and we will play our game. I don’t know about the win or loss, but it will be a good match.”
Performance of young players
Redhu opened up about his thoughts on the performance of his young players and said, “I’ve been saying from the beginning, I’m proud of our new kids, who have worked so hard. The most important thing in every match is that we play it, irrespective of the outcome. We don’t put pressure on them. I had faith that these new guys would do well.
“The new NYP of the year is Ali Samadi. I’m at a loss for words to express how proud I feel, as they played so well against an experienced team, which was last year’s champion. I feel very proud when new kids come to such a big platform and perform so well,” he signed off.
