PKL 12: Jaipur Pink Panthers coach opens up on Ali Samadi's performance after second consecutive win

Jaipur Pink Panthers registered a 45-41 victory against the Bengal Warriorz.
Jaipur Pink Panthers secured another crucial victory in their home leg, and as a result, they have jumped to the third spot in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) points table.
The Pink Panthers defeated an in-form Bengal Warriorz side to earn two more points for themselves in their home leg. Nitin Dhankar and Ali Samadi earned 13 and 12 points, respectively, to outwit Devank Dalal‘s tally of 16 raid points and lead Jaipur to another important victory.
After the game, representatives from both teams addressed the media.
Bengal Warriorz
Pressure on Devank Dalal
Bengal Warriorz head coach Naveen Kumar again spoke about the pressure that Devank Dalal is handling and said, “109 points in seven matches is a huge achievement, and he’s single-handedly pulling the team through.”
“If he is the lead raider of the team, then there should not be any pressure, but if he is the only raider, then there will be pressure. If one or two catches are taken in between, then there is definitely pressure on the raider,” he added.

Thoughts on the game
Naveen Kumar shared his views on the game and said, “The match was very close, and our defense should have played a little more patiently there. They kept making mistakes again and again, and from there, our match got spoiled. Yes, there is a weakness in coordination in the team, and we need to work on those mistakes.”

On Ali Samadi’s performance
Jaipur Pink Panthers head coach Narender Redhu was asked about his thoughts on Ali Choubtarash’s performance. He replied, “Ali is a talented raider; he is young and with complete discipline. He is a disciplined kid in every skill and physical fitness, so if you look at all the matches that have come, he has given scores to the team, and he is always ready for every raid and can continuously put in two, three, or four raids.”
“Both of our raiders are like this. It’s his first season, and he is doing something different in every match. He is doing well right now and has a good future. We pray to God that he remains fit like this and keeps doing well in the future and supports the team in winning like this,” he added.
