The Pirates find themselves under immense pressure, having lost three of their last five games. Thoughts on the game
Patna Pirates head coach Anup Kumar shared his views on the game and said, “In today’s match, the team could not perform well in both raiding and defence, and the same problem arose, which occurred in the first two matches that we were not able to finish in the last five to seven minutes. Perhaps the same thing was missing in today’s match also.”
Turning point in the game
The head coach also spoke about what went wrong for his side in the PKL 12 and said, “The defence played well overall, but there were mistakes in the end, and if a raider like Devank is in front, then it is always a problem, but still we played well against him. But, after the all-out in the end, there was no chance of a comeback, there was very little time left and that caused more problems.”

What has changed
Bengal Warriorz’s head coach, Naveen Kumar, told everyone what he has changed on his side.
“The team played well today on both sides, both in defence and offence. All the tackles were done with a team combination, and our main weakness was on the left side. From there, we changed our position. We brought in a new boy, he played well, and Devank had taken the entire responsibility of raiding, so he performed it very well.”

Playing against Patna Pirates
Devank Dalal shared his feelings after facing off against his former side in PKL 12 and said, “It was a very good feeling because not just Ayan, but all of them are my brothers and I played with them last year. I was on that team, and we all used to stay together. So, I had a very good feeling playing with him. I enjoyed playing it.”
