On Sagar Rathee’s return
Pawan Sehrawat also shared his thoughts on how the team will benefit from the return of star defender Sagar Rathee, who was nursing a long-term injury.
He said, “The team will become strong with Sagar’s arrival if he performs at his best, because in the situation in which Sagar plays, he plays well, so his performance makes the team strong. If any good player helps the team become strong and that is a good thing for the team.”

Thoughts on his team’s performance
“This win rebuilds our focus, and today our young talents showed that they are good players and they can help us. I think next matches they will have more confidence in playing better than this match also.”
Gameplan against Tamil Thalaivas
Gujarat Giants head coach Jaivir Singh shared his game plan for the Tamil Thalaivas and said, “Today the team performed according to our planning. However, we have noted a few shortcomings, and we will fix them.”
“Today we had already planned that Pawan and Arjun are good raiders in that team, and both of them targeted Shadloui, unlike Puneri Paltan, who avoided him. But when they targeted him, the rest of our defenders played according to our strategy and made many catches on them,” he added.
Thoughts on Jaipur Pink Panthers
Jaivir Singh opened up about his views on the Jaipur Pink Panthers ahead of their next game and said, “Jaipur are also a good team and we have seen their strong points and weak points. Every team plans for the next match by looking at the strengths and weaknesses of their opponent. Accordingly, we will also plan, and Jaipur are also a young team just like us. So obviously you will get to see a good match.”
Captain Mohammadreza Shadloui also added, “Jaipur are a good team and I think we have a better chance in front of them because now our players are really confident after today’s win. He told me that if we win this match, we will win the next match as well. Congratulations to our fans, thank you for supporting us.”
