Bengal Warriorz finally returned to winning ways after a series of defeats in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12). The Kolkata-based outfit outsmarted the UP Yoddhas in Jaipur to clinch a much-needed win.
With this win, the Warriorz have lifted themselves from the bottom of the table and will hope to build upon their newly found confidence. Skipper Devank Dalal scored his sixth Super 10 on the trot to help his side come back from behind and win the game.
After the match, representatives from both teams addressed the media and shared their thoughts.

What went wrong?
UP Yoddhas’ assistant coach Upendra Malik shared his thoughts on the game and told the media about what went wrong for his side. Malik said, “It was a good start to the match, and the defense performed well today, but when it is a close match, then patience is definitely required. There were some occasions when we made mistakes and lost points. If we had shown some patience, we could have won the match, and these things are important in such a close match.
Malik also added that, “We can’t win in 5-10-20-30 minutes. In this league, we have to be completely alert for the entire 40 minutes, whether it’s defense or offense; everyone is together. So, if we can say that we played well but lost, and a defeat is a defeat. I would still say that the patience that was lost today was wrong.”
