Bengal Warriors and Telugu Titans will look to open their account in PKL 9
Girish Ernak will be expected to perform like the first match.
Both Telugu Titans and Bengal Warriors are coming off a defeat from their respective opening encounters. Telugu Titans opened their account with a point losing out in a close battle against the Bengaluru Bulls. Bengal Warriors on the other hand looked didn't look consistent throughout the 2nd half even after failing to secure the all-out points.

Head to Head
Bengal Warriors have won 10 times out of the 18 encounters with Telugu Titans with 5 matches finishing in a tie. The last season saw two close finishes between the two teams with Bengal Warriors winning the first battle and the 2nd battle ending in a tie.
Player to watch
Girish Ernak shall look to produce the same effort as he did in the first half against Haryana Steelers in the opening encounter against Haryana Steelers. Girish Ernak claimed the high 5 in the first half but couldn't do much in the 2nd half.
Rajnish from Telugu Titans after being retained by the franchise from the previous season made his mark after being brought in as a substitute against Bengaluru Bulls. With Siddharth Desai not at his best Rajnish shall make it to the playing 7 and put in more raids.
Key to Success
For Bengal Warriors Girish Ernak should look to be consistent across both halves of the match. Girish needs to be conscience about his advance tackles which cost Bengal Warriors a handful of points against Haryana Steelers. Even though he scored a high 5 he missed out on crunch situations. Deepak Hooda needs to show up both in the raiding and help out the defence when required
Telugu Titans
Vishal Bharadwaj from the left corner needs to put up a consistent performance after having played many matches at the PKL. With Siddharth Dessai not at his best, the likes of Monu and Goyat need to step up. Abhishek Singh was not in the match day squad in the opening encounter but will play a key role if available in the raiding department.
Did you know
Maninder Singh becomes the 2nd raider in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League to cross the 1000 raid points mark. Pardeep Narwal was the first to cross the magical figures.
