With just a few days left for the much-awaited Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), all franchises are set to give their best to lift that beautiful trophy. With Dabang Delhi as the most recent champion, the pressure would be immense for them to retain the title. Eyeing maiden title
Even without winning the trophy, the Gujarat Giants are one of the top teams in the PKL. They have made it to the finals twice in Season 5 and 6 and are eager to end their trophy drought this time. With Ram Mahar Singh as their coach this season, one can expect some turnaround this time.
Picked some top players in the auction
Gujarat Giants had a great PKL auction with some tremendous players going their way. They bought YongChang Ko, Pardeep Kumar, and Dong Geon Lee, to name a few. With Akram Shaikh also in their squad, the squad seems to be pretty much balanced. The PKL franchise tried roping in Pardeep Narwal during the auction but failed to buy the legend as UP Yoddha used their FBM to get him back.
More fixtures to be out soon
The second half of the fixtures will be out at any time in the last week of October. By having a look at the present fixtures, Gujarat will be having a good amount of time in between their games to get themselves ready for the next games.
