These are some of the best raiders from every season.

The much-awaited Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9 will begin in October with some prominent names set to enter the Kabaddi arena once again. Raiders like Pardeep Narwal, Vikash Kandola, and Pawan Sehrawat are set to entertain their fans once again with their brilliant raiding skills.

Today, let us take a look at the top raiders from every PKL season who won the ‘Best Raider Award.’ Here is the list of the showstopper from every season:

PKL Season 1 (Rahul Chaudhari – Telugu Titans)

Rahul Chaudhari was the top-notch raider in the inaugural season of the PKL in 2014. He scored 151 raid points in 14 matches, which helped him win the best raider award. Because of his exceptional raiding skills, Chaudhari also got the nickname "Showman" during that season. Rahul Chaudhari scored 8 Super 10s during the 2014 season, during which he eventually came into the limelight.

PKL Season 2 (Kashiling Adake – Dabang Delhi)

With 114 raid points in 14 matches, Kashiling Adake was one of the highlights of the season as he bagged the best raider award for his excellent raiding skills. In that season, Kashiling was 16 points ahead of Rahul Chaudhari. Despite his team Delhi finishing seventh out of eight, his outstanding performance earned him recognition from every kabaddi fan.

PKL Season 3 (Reshank Devadiga – U Mumba)

When you have Anup Kumar as your captain, the authority of playing your own game is the biggest relief for any player. Reshank was at his level-best under the guidance of Anup in Season 3. He scored 115 raid points and was the second top-scorer in that edition. His excellent game helped U Mumba finish at the top of the points table. Rishank also bagged 2 Super 10s in the season that became the highlight of Season 2.

PKL Season 4 (Rahul Chaudhari – Telugu Titans)

Champions always make a comeback, and so did Rahul Chaudhari. After not winning the best raider award in the second and third seasons, the Titan of the Telugu made a terrific comeback to win his second-best raider award with 146 raid points. His excellent performance helped Telugu finish second in the league stage. Rahul scored seven Super 10s in Season 4 to let everyone know why he is the "Showman" of the league.

PKL Season 5 (Pardeep Narwal – Patna Pirates)

Known as the "Record Breaker", Pardeep Narwal took the Kabaddi world by storm when he entered the arena. The man from Haryana won the best raider award for his prolific performance of 369 raid points. Isn’t it unbelievable? Well, Pardeep was on fire in that season as he was ahead of Rohit Kumar by 150 raid points, who was the second-best raider of the season. Pardeep scored 19 Super 10s and helped his team defend their title for the second time. He also won the most valuable player award of the season.

PKL 6 (Pardeep Narwal – Patna Pirates)

When you are in form, no one can stop you, not even the champions of the game. Though the Patna Pirates couldn’t defend their title in Season 6, Pardeep managed to defend his best raider award. He scored another magnificent 233 raid points with the help of 15 Super 10s. He became the second-best raider during this season in terms of points. This second consecutive award gave India the other Kabaddi champion.

PKL 7 (Pawan Sehrawat – Bengaluru Bulls)

Just like Pardeep Narwal, another champion came in Season 7, and he was none other than Pawan Sehrawat. Pawan, who was sold for a massive Rs 2.26 crore this time, did something special in PKL 7. He won the best raider award with his stupendous performance of 346 raid points, including 18 Sper 10s and 13 Super Raids. With this feat, he became the second raider to score 300 raid points.

PKL 8 (Pawan Sehrawat – Bengaluru Bulls)

In the previous edition of the PKL, Pawan Sehrawat became the second player to win the best raider award consecutively. Sehrawat scored 304 points with the help of 18 Super 10s. Though he failed to carry his team to the finals, his top-notch performance made him the first player to be on the two-crore list when he was bought by Tamil Thalaivas in the PKL 9 auction for Rs 2.26 crore.
