Despite the loss against Bengal Warriorz, UP Yoddhas remains on top of the PKL 11 points table.

The Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 (PKL 11) group stage continues to evolve, with noticeable shifts in the standings as teams battle for supremacy. UP Yoddhas and Puneri Paltan now share the top two spots, each with 11 points from 3 matches. Both teams have secured two wins and one loss, with UP Yoddhas holding a slightly better score difference of +23, compared to Puneri Paltan’s +20, and holding the first spot.

Jaipur Pink Panthers, previously unbeaten, now sit in third place with 10 points, after suffering their first defeat in 3 matches in PKL 11, although they maintain a healthy score difference of +23. Tamil Thalaivas remains consistent in fourth in PKL 11, having played only two games but winning both with an impressive +20 score difference.

Dabang Delhi K.C. follows in fifth place, with one win and one loss from their two matches, sitting on 6 points. Bengal Warriors and Gujarat Giants, both with a 1-1 record, are locked in the mid-table battle with 6 points each. The Haryana Steelers, with one win and one loss, sit slightly lower at eighth, with 5 points.

U Mumba and Telugu Titans have struggled for form, both managing just one win out of their two and three games respectively in PKL 11. Telugu Titans, however, have a significantly worse score difference at -37, which leaves them in 10th place, while U Mumba and Haryana Steelers are slightly ahead with 5 points each.

Bengaluru Bulls’ woes continue as they remain at the bottom, losing all three of their matches with a dismal score difference of -33, leaving them with just 1 point. Meanwhile, Patna Pirates remain winless after their only match so far, with a -15 score difference and no points to their name.

In the first match of PKL 11 today, the Bengal Warriorz delivered a solid all-round performance to defeat the UP Yoddhas at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The Bengal Warriorz emerged victorious with a 32-29 scoreline, thanks to standout contributions from Maninder Singh, Sushil Kambrekar, and Nitin Dhankhar. Despite the loss, Bharat was a bright spot for the UP Yoddhas, scoring 13 points.

Later in the evening, the Haryana Steelers secured their first win of PKL 11, overpowering the Jaipur Pink Panthers with a 37-25 victory at the same venue. Vinay, Naveen, and Shivam Patare were instrumental in the Steelers’ commanding performance as they brushed aside the challenge from the Pink Panthers.

The race for the top raider in Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 is heating up, with Jaipur Pink Panthers’ captain Arjun Deshwal leading the charge, having racked up an impressive 37 raid points in just 3 matches. Close on his heels is Telugu Titans’ skipper Pawan Kumar Sehrawat, who has accumulated 29 raid points from his 3 games, showcasing his consistent performance.

‘Dubki’ king Pardeep Narwal is not far behind with 28 raid points, followed closely by UP Yoddhas Bharat Hooda, who has tallied 27 points in an equally strong showing for the Bulls.
