U Mumba moved to the second spot in the PKL 11 points table with the win.
Today in Pro Kabaddi 2024 (PKL 11), the Pune leg got off to a thrilling start at the Balewadi Sports Complex’s Badminton Hall with match 89 between the Gujarat Giants and Bengaluru Bulls ending in a dramatic 34-34 tie.
The Bulls saw standout performances from Nitin Rawal, who earned 7 points, while Pardeep Narwal and Sushil contributed 6 points each. On the other side, the Giants, who controlled the game for the most part, were led by Rakesh with 7 points and Neeraj, who shone defensively with a High-5.
Later in the evening, match 90 brought more excitement as U Mumba clashed with the Puneri Paltan in front of a packed home crowd. Unfortunately for the Paltan supporters, their team couldn’t deliver, falling to a 29-43 defeat.
Ajit Chauhan was the star for U Mumba, racking up 12 points, while Manjeet chipped in with 5. Defenders Sunil Kumar and Sombir also played crucial roles, each achieving a High-5. For the Puneri Paltan, Pankaj Mohite stood out with a solid 9-point performance, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide in their favor.

PKL 11 Points Table after match 90:
Haryana Steelers continue to dominate the top spot on the table with 61 points, showing consistent form throughout the season. Patna Pirates follow closely in second place with 52 points. U Mumba have climbed to third with 51 points after a solid win, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
Dabang Delhi K.C. hold the fourth place with 48 points, tied with Telugu Titans, who drop to fifth due to a lower score difference. Puneri Paltan, despite the loss, are in sixth with 47 points, staying within striking distance of the top positions.
Jaipur Pink Panthers take seventh place with 46 points, while UP Yoddhas are close behind in eighth with 43 points. Tamil Thalaivas remain in ninth with 33 points, unable to gain much momentum. Gujarat Giants and Bengal Warriorz occupy the 10th and 11th spots with 29 and 26 points, respectively. At the bottom of the table, Bengaluru Bulls are stuck with 19 points, struggling to turn their season around.

Devank continues to dominate the raiding charts, increasing his tally to an impressive 194 raid points in 15 matches, solidifying his position as the league’s top raider. Ashu Malik follows in second place with 164 raid points, maintaining his consistent form. Arjun Deshwal has slipped to third with 162 raid points in as many matches, though he remains a key player for his team.
Ajit Ramesh Chouhan holds the fourth spot with 126 raid points, showcasing his reliability in crucial moments. Meanwhile, Ayan Lohchab rounds out the top five, making a strong impact with 121 raid points in 15 matches.
